| Delegation from Hessen- and Saarland government visited KIST Europe Aug-28-2021 | |

On August 25, 2021, Mr. Patrick Burghardt, the state secretary for digital strategy and development in hessen, and Mr. Ammar Alkassar, the chief information officer in Saarland, visited KIST Europe. Dr. Soo Hyun Kim, the Director of KIST Europe, welcomed the delegation warmly and started with a presentation to introduce KIST Seoul (Headquarters) and KIST Europe.
Dr. Kim ended his presentation with the comments of close cooperation with the Saarland government and the neighbor institutes. Mr. Ammar Alkassar specially thanked to the kind reception and talked about his impression on KIST Europe research themes, especially the adverse outcome pathway(AOP).
Also, he mentioned high-technology in korea and wanted to get research demands matched between Korea and germany, in the areas of Hessen and Saarland. Additionally, Mr. Patrick Burgardt, showed his interests in digital strategy and E-government and asked a possibility as a bridge between both countries.
Institute Director, Dr. Kim, explained the KIST Europe's cooperation platform and gladly answered to contribute actively. |
