Today, on February 22, 2021, the Director of the Institute Dr. Soo Hyun Kim reported on the KIST Europe's research and management achievements of 2020. The presentation of the annual report had to be implemented as an online conference this year by reason of Pandemic of COVID-19. The evaluation committee members gave Dr. Kim warm welcome, especially in light of his inauguration two weeks ago, and Dr. Kim presented the research and administrative outcomes.
During the presentation and Q&A, he emphasized the main research theme "Adverse Outcome Pathway", internal research competence and the establishment of KIST Europe identity in Europe. Furthermore, the importance of the cooperation and networking between European and Korean researchers was highly discussed. |
