Opening ceremony of the IBK Changgong Europe Desk is succesfully launched
IBK, the Industrial Bank of Korea, announced on October 8th that it has established the ‘IBK Changgong Europe Desk’, second overseas base following the opening of the ‘IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Desk’ in September last year.   The IBK Changgong Europe Desk is located in the Korea-EU Cooperation Building within the European Research Centre of KIST Europe and will serve as a bridgehead for innovative startups from Korea looking to expand into Europe.      ‘In conjunction with KIST Europe's International Collaborative Research Support Programme (THE Bridge), we will support innovative startups to participate in European advanced R&D projects,’ said Kim Soo-hyun, Director of KIST Europe.   Meanwhile, the Bank of Korea is conducting the ‘IBK Changgong Europe Acceleration Programme’ to help innovative startups successfully expand overseas. The companies selected for the third batch of the programme are conducting programs in Germany to attract investments, participate in IR and open innovation, commercialise and market their tailored technologies, and engage in global networking.
