On April 27th 2017, KIST Europe hosted an event in relation to the Korean Chemical legislation K-REACH and new Korean biocidal product regulation (K-BPR). Together with our European partners DHI, we were pleased to welcome around 40 participants from European companies. As a speaker and representative from Korean Ministry of Environment (MoE) we could also have Yeon-Kie Ryoo, general director, Min-A Seo, deputy director and Daejun Kang, deputy director. Amendment of K-REACH and enactment of K-BPR was introduced and compliance strategy based on difference with EU REACH and K-REACH was discussed. KIST Europe expects that this meeting contributes European industry to a better understanding of Korean regulations.
