On Nov 15. 2019, Dr. Kwangyun Wohn, Chairperson of the National Research Council of Science &Technology in Korea, visited KIST Europe. It was his first official visit to KIST Europe and Saarbrücken following his inauguration on October 23, 2017. Dr. Junkyung Kim, Director of KIST Europe, welcomed his visit as an opportunity to explain KIST Europe’s achievements over the past 23 years and to elaborate on its current management style. His visit led to a discussion on promoting development of all korean research Institutions, including KIST Europe, and actual cooperation policies with partner organizations. He confirmed the KIST Europe’s own identity and the cooperational theme of KIST Europe - 'Korea-EU Initiative platform' -, and mentioned supporting from korean side and hoped bright future. |
