On June 9, 2021, the Director of the Institute and Dr. Dongwoon Bae, the President of VeKNI e.V. (The Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the ERG) had a video meeting, which was the first official meeting of the newly inaugurated both leaders.
At the meeting, Dr. Dongwoon Bae briefed about EKC 2021 (Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology), which VeKNI e.V. plans to hold in October in Germany, UK and France, and online. Afterwards, they discussed about participation of KIST Europe, their support and the cooperation between them regarding the conference.
